Like Paul, we are called to share this light and freedom with those who are lost. Receiving the Holy Spirit empowers us to be instruments of change, bringing life to the lifeless. Jesus Christ exemplified this beautifully (Matthew 4:4). Those who possess the Spirit of God need to reach out to others with a deep compassion for lost souls, as this compassion is rooted in the Spirit itself.
Understanding that Christ’s life was given for us encourages us to let His love flow through us. Colossians 1:13 reminds us that Jesus’s mission was a rescue mission, guiding people from darkness to light. As His representatives, we share in this responsibility. By taking up the task of guiding the lost from darkness into light, you will embark on an incredible journey with God, one filled with purpose and transformation.
