Thus, children of God are considered privileged, able to rise above challenges and dwell in God’s presence.
In contrast, those who do not share this perspective often find themselves preoccupied with material possessions, such as buildings and vehicles, placing their identity and security in transient things that hold little value after death. In contrast, believers focus on spiritual endeavours and the salvation of souls, prioritizing their relationship with God over earthly concerns (Romans 8:5-8). While material resources are acknowledged as necessary, they are seen as secondary blessings that accompany a life dedicated to God’s work.
