You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should last. That whatever you ask of the Father in my name may be given to you. (John 15:16)

One of humanity’s greatest mandates is to multiply. People born of women have been instructed by God to do just that. (Genesis 1:28) It seems mankind has embraced this directive, fulfilling it to the fullest extent possible.

Every individual born of a woman aspires to create a family and raise children of their own. Today, we see a global population exceeding 8.02 billion, a testament to the procreation command given to us in the garden.

When God granted us His life, He also called us to be fruitful. In John 15:16, Jesus highlights that humanity’s purpose is rooted in fruitfulness. In essence, those who carry the spirit of God are likewise called to generate others of their kind. Sadly, this mandate has often been overlooked. Every person born of the spirit of God shares this same call to fruitfulness. Our growth in number comes from our ability to share and spread the gospel.

We have a responsibility to multiply our kind on earth and to increase the number of God’s children in His Kingdom. As you go about your daily activities today, don’t forget this important task; make it a priority to fulfill this divine mandate.
