This policy applies when you:
- Create an account as a jobseeker or employer
- Build your profile, upload a CV, apply for jobs, or communicate through ACUC
- Post jobs, review applicants, message jobseekers, or manage subscriptions
- Use premium features (e.g., CV builder, higher apply/post limits, promoted job ads)
- Name, email address, phone number
- Login and security information (e.g., verification status, OTP and anti-fraud logs)
- Location, headline, summary, skills, sectors, and preferences
- CV/résumé files you upload (PDF, DOC, DOCX) and CV content built on-platform
- Profile photo (if uploaded)
- Company name, email, profile, industry, size, website, and location
- Company logo (if uploaded)
- Job post details (title, location, type, mode, salary, description)
- Application records (job applied to, dates, status, CV used, cover letter)
- Messages sent through ACUC (content, timestamps, and associated context)
- IP address, device and browser information, approximate location (from IP), cookies and identifiers
- Activity logs (pages viewed, clicks, feature usage) for security and analytics
Sensitive data: ACUC does not request sensitive personal data by default. If you include sensitive data in your CV or messages, you choose to share it.
- Directly from you when you register, fill your profile, upload a CV, apply, post jobs, or send messages.
- Automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Platform.
- From other users (e.g., an employer's job post content, or application status updates).
- From service providers (e.g., payment confirmation from your chosen payment processor).
- Provide the service: create accounts, enable job search, applications, employer posting, and messaging.
- Subscriptions & premium features: manage plans, usage limits, CV builder, and promoted job ads.
- Platform safety: prevent spam, abuse, unauthorised access, and fraud.
- Support: respond to requests and troubleshoot issues.
- Improve ACUC: analytics, debugging, performance monitoring, and feature development.
- Legal compliance: comply with UAE laws and respond to lawful requests.
Where applicable, we process personal data based on one or more of the following: your consent, performance of a contract (providing the Platform), legitimate interests (e.g., security and fraud prevention), and compliance with legal obligations.
You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
If you apply to a job, we share relevant application data (such as your profile and CV) with the employer who posted that role. Employers may use this data to evaluate your application and communicate with you.

ACUC does not store your full payment card details. Payments are handled by your chosen processor (e.g., Stripe or PayPal) per their own policies.

- Protect ACUC, users, and the public against fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Enforce our Terms of Service and investigate violations
If ACUC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards and prior notice.
