You understand that electronic acceptance of these Terms (for example, by clicking a button or using the Platform) forms a binding agreement under UAE electronic transactions principles.
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating and maintaining your ACUC account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
ACUC may require email/phone verification and may apply security controls (e.g., one-time codes, rate limits, session checks). You agree not to bypass or interfere with these security measures.
If you create an Employer account on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
- You must not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, experience, or right to work.
- You must upload only content you have the right to share (your CV, portfolio, certificates, etc.).

- Job postings must be accurate, lawful, and not misleading.

- You agree to handle applicant data responsibly and securely.
- You are responsible for all hiring decisions and compliance with applicable laws and workplace regulations.
ACUC may review, moderate, remove, or restrict any listing or content at any time (for example, if it violates these Terms, appears fraudulent, or creates risk to users).
When a jobseeker applies, certain profile details and documents (such as a CV) may be shared with the employer for that job. Employers may accept, decline, or request additional information. ACUC does not guarantee responses from employers.
ACUC does not guarantee that any job will be filled, any candidate will be hired, or that communications will be uninterrupted.
ACUC may offer free and paid plans for Jobseekers and Employers. Paid plans may include CV building, increased application limits, increased job posting limits, and promotional/featured job placement. Plan details are shown at checkout and may vary.
If auto-renewal is enabled, your subscription may renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Refund eligibility (if any) depends on the plan, the reason for the request, and what is stated at checkout. ACUC may refuse refunds where services were delivered or where misuse, fraud, or policy violations are involved.
ACUC may change pricing or plan features. Where required, we will provide notice through the Platform and/or email.
Employers may purchase promotional options (for example, "Featured" placement or homepage visibility). ACUC does not guarantee specific hiring outcomes from promotions. Promotional placement may be time-limited and subject to availability and moderation.
You own your User Content. You grant ACUC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and transmit your User Content solely to operate and improve the Platform (for example: showing your CV to an employer you applied to).
If you use a CV builder or templates, you remain responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of the output. ACUC does not guarantee acceptance of any CV format by any employer.
You may delete or update certain content from your profile. Some records may be retained where necessary for security, compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.
You agree not to:
- Use ACUC for unlawful purposes or to violate any applicable regulations.
- Post fraudulent jobs, phishing attempts, pyramid schemes, or misleading offers.
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without written permission.
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or marketing unrelated to hiring.
- Bypass limits (applications/jobs/posts) using multiple accounts, automation, or abuse.
- Upload malware, harmful code, or attempt to disrupt Platform security.
ACUC processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. UAE has a federal personal data protection framework (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection).
You agree we may contact you about account/security notices, service updates, and subscription administration. Marketing communications (if any) will follow your preferences and applicable rules.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". ACUC does not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that any employer or jobseeker will complete a transaction or hire/be hired.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACUC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the Platform.
You are responsible for your hiring decisions, communications, and compliance. You agree to indemnify ACUC against claims arising from your content, listings, or misuse of the Platform.
ACUC may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts (and remove content) where we reasonably believe there is misuse, fraud, policy violations, security risk, or harm to other users or ACUC.
You may stop using ACUC at any time. Subscription cancellation rules are described in Section 8.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and applicable laws of the Emirate of Sharjah. Unless otherwise required by mandatory law, disputes will be subject to the courts of UAE.
